Another thread born from the fiasco at poutinefest - we have one asking for best poutines, but that one is (for good reason) all about clasic fries-curds-gravy combos with little or no extra toppings.
So for people who like to experiment and try different poutine variety beyond classic/classic with bacon/classic with sausage/classic with shawarma/italian poutine/galvaude and would like to do it outside) - what are the cool and interesting varieties you've seen around town, and where did you find them?
There's the GReat Canadian Poutinerie, of course, which has lots of cool varieties, and not quite in town per se (next town over), La Trappe a Poutine near Gatineau airport has some excellent stuff made with their own cheese(s) - their duck poutine with l'Atrappe Coeur brie (and curds, or course) is delicious, but I'm hoping to hear abOut the more local chips wagon and little places with cool variants.
