This school bro 💔

Francoisbuote annoys me. A LOT.

One of my number 1 reasons is because they are genuinely SO SLOW when it comes to taking care of the bathrooms! There have been times where we (girls bathroom) will go up to two weeks with no paper towel (cuz they forgot to refill it ig) and over a week with no soap (because, again, they forgot to refill it).
In the women’s bathrooms there are no menstrual products at all. In fact, it’s the students themselves making sure that there are pads in the stalls in case someone’s period starts and they aren’t prepared. I’ve even brought a few pads to school to place in the stalls, myself! I’ve brought entire rolls of paper towel to school TWICE because I was just so sick of having to dry my hands on my shirt (which barely works and leaves my shirt wet) because some random janitor forgot to refill the paper towel.
This isn’t something that students should have to worry about, but the school gave us no choice but to step in to help each other.
Now, before you say something such as “well, those products are expensive, especially if bought in bulk!” Well, from what I know (I could be wrong, pls correct me if I am) the government provides payments to the school for these kinds of things. Certain school equipments, property fixes, maintenance, etc.
Let’s say I am mal-informed and the government DOESN’T give the school money to buy these kinds of things.
It wouldn’t make much of a difference to my point, Cuz the school has money to spare. How do I know? Well, they clearly have enough money to host events every other week, and I should hope they have a stable income especially since the school is trusted to take care of 500-600+ students.

Y’all can ignore this if you want, I just wanted to rant cuz I’ve complained about this to my teachers plenty of times and the school board just won’t listen lol
Have a good day :D

Update: They still haven’t refilled the soap things. But hey, Atleast they gave us soap at all. This feels like a punch to the gut, though. It feels like malicious compliance after me and my friends and a few other gals complained to the front desk. I’ll include a pic of what they gave us instead of refilling the soap dispensers in the comments

So I’ve noticed a TON more rat traps in the school. Specifically, over ten of the ones shown below.

I am reaching out to you adults to ask you guys to complain to the school board about their choice of placement of said rat traps. (Which btw, contain rat poison.)
The school has chosen to place three different rat traps, each including poison might I add, directly in the area the school makes children from kindergarten all the way up to six graders play during recess. Two of which were literally directly Infront of the recess doors for (what I’m pretty sure is) the kindergarteners or the 3rd graders. There was clearly an attempt to ensure no curious kids tried to grab the boxes, aka the cement blocks on the bottom of the traps that is connected to it, but the cement block was genuinely light enough that I watched a SECOND GRADER pick it up with ease.

My biggest concern is overly curious children who may try to disassemble the thing. These may be made so they can’t be opened without a key, but all it takes is a child picking up the trap and throwing it against the wall (which kids would 100% try to do). The brick connected to the bottom of the trap would just make it easier to break if it were tossed at a wall.

When I was in kindergarten all the way up to sixth grade, I loved to disassemble things to learn how they work. So did all my classmates. All it takes is one kid with the same mentality me and my classmates had to gain access to the rodenticides within.

What do you guys think?
