Hello!

I've recently found 2 listings for low-mileage, red Lada 2107.

The first is a 1600 SL from 1991 with a 5-speed, costing 5700€, which is expensive in my opinion..

The other is a 1300 from 1989 with a 4-speed, costing 2500€, pretty cheap considering its mint condition.

I want a 5-speed for highway driving, but I feel hesitant about the max 3200€ extra for just an additional gear and +300cc.

A new 5-speed gearbox is about 1100€ w/ shipping.

How difficult is a manual swap?
Is it worth the effort on a small 1,3L engine, or should I just pay up for a better spec Lada?
