I went in recently to buy a mascara and the sales lady suggested the Sephora own range. I bought the normal and waterproof as it had exactly what I wanted - a thick brush as I can’t really use the thin ones!

I have to say, they are really lovely mascaras. They do the job, coat, lengthen and the waterproof one is really waterproof.

Has anyone used any other Sephora own products and really rated them?

Also, do the sales lady’s get more if they sell Sephora own products? Just asking 😆

Let me know your experience with Sephora own products and how you rate them xx

My skin feels so dry, tight and starts flaking during the day so I was hoping for some advice on how to hydrate it more 😊I have dry skin and have been using tretinoin, Azelaic acid every other night for a few months and have just started to up my tret to every night and AA 3 times a week.

My routine:
PM: double cleanse with BoJ cleansing balm, Cetaphil dry skin facial wash,
toners like Cosrx peptide booster, Haru Haru black rice probiotic, Then I Met You essence,
Dr Reju-All PDRN serum.
Let it all dry a but, then use tretinoin 0.05%.
Let it dry, then Skinoren 20% 3 times a week, not every night.

AM: wash with water
Toners on and a hydrating one like Celimax dual barrier
Mary & May peptide serum
Equalberry peptide booster cream (in the pink tub)
Celimax dark spot Suncream spf 50

Then I have to keep on applying a cream like Aestura or Illiyoon in the day and just before I reapply my suncream.

The second application of suncream is Round Lab’s birch juice spf 50 one.

How can I help my skin? I’m hoping you have some suggestions!

It’s taken a few months to finish these, but love the idea of posting empties!

✅Celimax Pore and Dark spot suncream - love it and have already started with the new one.

✅Soonjung Director’s spf - it’s one I use to reapply as it’s active free and doesn’t pill. Like all K suncreams, they are so easy to use and reapply, love them! I now have Round Lab’s Birch Juice suncream to finish off and will probably reorder this again.

🤷🏽‍♀️The Beauty Crop Peptide Calm mist. This was the one of the first K Beauty products I bought and thought it was so nice! It was a beautiful even mist, hydrating and easy to use. Since then I have used other toners and mists and realised there are other out there that are much better. But I love it as a brand and have bought their make up and other bits that I love.

🤷🏽‍♀️MZ Skin Vitamin C - it was lovely and brightening but I ain’t paying full price for it! I got this one at TKMaxx so was a bargain and did the job. I’ve got some peptide products that I’ll use up before getting another Vit C.

❎Kheils Vitamin Eye cream - I kind of got talked into buying this lol and I was suspicious of it, didn’t think it would work and then was sadly proven right. It didn’t do anything. I have used Ole Henricksons Banana Bright eye cream and actually love it, so may get it again.

Wow that was long! Sorry 😁

I’m 53 and can’t believe the regeneration or recycling of 90’s makeup. The dark brown lipliner and mauve lipstick, frosty eyeshadow, the cool tone hues!

I am of Indian heritage and clearly remember how difficult it was to get makeup that matched my skin in those days. I had to wear brown eyeliner for a lipliner and with the most popular Rimmel Heather Shimmer 😂

So funny how fashion swings around.

What’s your take on 90’s makeup? What are your makeup memories? If you’re like me, a person of a certain age, do you wear it?

W or you love to hear your POV (as the kids say) 😊
