Running into a problem with shock absorber availability in northern Europe area. I've asked all local to my country and some other suppliers I could find online for ARB OME, Dobinsons etc shocks.
None of the suppliers seem to have correct length shocks available and as far as I understood OME only has a variety of two lengths shocks for an XJ - normal and long travel shocks. Both of those are signifantly shorter than what I have installed currently in the front. My current set up is ~3" lift with 730 mm front shock (full extended), 540 mm length in normal position when car is on flat surface. Flex travel is about 190 mm and with long travel OME shocks that the corresponding value would be around 113 mm.
To me this doesnt sound very good as I think in offriad scenarios I need more flex than what OME can supply. Any advice?
Does anyone know where I could get longer shocks and who manufactures those for an XJ? International shipping is ofc required.
