My (24F) boyfriend (25m) have had plans for about a month to visit my out of town sister so that we can babysit my nephews while my sister runs a half marathon. The day before we left, he texts me around 2pm saying he’s not going with me because his brother asked to hang out.
His brother is moving out of state in about a month. they currently see each other 2-3 times a week and he has known his brother is moving for about a year.
This is the 3rd weekend in a row our plans have been changed/cancelled because of him spending time with his brother. I haven’t said anything because the other 2 times weren’t that big of a deal but going out of town is a little different. I told him I was upset because this is the 3rd weekend in a row that something has been changed or cancelled.
He stormed out and told me I’m unreasonable for telling him that I would like for him to talk to me about changing plans instead of just telling me he’s changed them and then said he wants to breakup because I’m selfish, immature, and don’t care about his feelings.
Am I crazy for being upset?
