Hi everyone, I need some help.

My laptop has a SIM card slot, but it doesn’t seem to work at all. The system doesn’t detect it — I don’t even see any “cellular” or mobile network option in settings.

Here’s what I checked so far:

• Inserted a working SIM card
• Checked Windows settings (no cellular section)
• Looked in Device Manager, but I’m not sure what should be there

Is it possible that the slot is just a placeholder and the actual LTE module is missing? Or could it be a driver issue?

Laptop model: latitude 5420
OS: Windows 11

Any help would be appreciated 🙏
