Hey everyone, I recently ran an experiment to see what actually moves the needle for ASO in 2026. While many focus on just backlinks or metadata, I focused on Search Velocity.

Using a private network of 500+ real users, I had them manually search for a specific keyword and install the app. We kept a 5-day retention rate of about 65%.

The Results: The app jumped from page 15 to the top 10 within 10 days. The organic 'Suggested' traffic also saw a 25% spike because the algorithm started recognizing the app as 'Trending.'
