Fanfic Post! I made a prequel fanfic for the Fourth Wing series.
I haven't posted here in a while, but I figured I'd share my ongoing prequel fanfic based just before the Great War 600 years prior to canon!
My story, Saelic Bond, follows a 22 year old druidic girl named, Trishana Rothan. She is of the Saelic Tribe, one of 6 Druidic Tribes of the Solaric Union, inhabiting the Eastern Peninsula. (Then known as Solaris, now known as the Barrens)
We'll follow her as she becomes the first of her people to bond with a Dragon and is eventually given the responsibility of leading her people as the Borovick Kingdom to the East prepares to engulf The Continent into what we now know is the Great War.
As the impossible arrives, foreign Dragon Riders from a Kingdom far to the west, Trishana will need to reveal her secrets, learn to trust her new allies, and prepare her people for the coming war, even as the Venin threaten to consume her home.
My husband and I are writing this story together and have done our best to stay as close to canon as possible with our story. This isn't a story that establishes the main canon, it's merely a tragedy of a people now forgotten, with those who made many sacrifices to turn the tide of the Great War.
