Anyone else feel this? I feel encouraged that I recognize this.
Venting: I feel so guilty that anytime anything happens in my life I think about how much worse things would be if my old partner (common-law) were around. He jumped into my window with his arms outreached and chased me and that was the finality of it before that he punched a wall, told me how he understood a man’s desperation behind killing pregnant women and would hit on women right in front of me. I used to be a woman with confidence and that is all but destroyed in his wake. I had the opportunity to press charges and I wish I would have, once again I prioritized protecting him over myself.
