I think this is called the horn effect. Do women actually do this to feel less shallow? Or are they clear about not wanting someone in their life/social circle because of their looks?

So recently I was accepted to attend this event by ASML in the Netherlands. I am a Greek mechanical engineer and I’m currently doing a Masters in Robotics at TU Delft. I have adequate experience with engineering software and multi-body dynamics and control. What is the acceptance rate for intern roles in ASML if you’ve already been accepted to join this event? Any personal experience is welcome.
