Does anybody else see the striking similarities between ‘good 4 you’ MV and the new alternate cover album photoshoot.

Take a trip down memory lane in 2021 Olivia wore distinctive black gloves on her while lighting a room with gasoline. Leaving a forest of smoke depicted in her MV.

Contrast this with ‘Pretty sad’ alternate cover - sees Olivia dresses floral a feminine vibe that opposes her old look, yet depicts an adjacent scene, cleaning gloves holding a chainsaw.

I don’t know Olivia create intention I want to preface :) , but I think this is harkening to Olivia finding herself in the same place but different circumstances and a different version of herself. The resemblance is uncanny but scene still emotes to the same effect.

This scene here is significant because it situates Olivia as the instigator, holding the object or ‘tool’ for destruction - this could hint to feeling of guilt or that destruction was caused by her.

I’d love to know others thoughts on this 🩷🩷

Trees often but not always symbolise growth and the self or a connection. Olivia has several depiction surrounding trees and I think it could be hinting at each setting to a deeper meaning.

1. "drop dead" (snl stage) 🪦
   then she’s literally UNDER the tree roots. 6ft under!! this is the limerence phase where the love is so heavy it’s burying u alive. u aren't just in love, u are consumed by the dirt. she’s "dropped dead" in the fantasy. Here she’s at the bottom perhaps hinting naivety and lack of growth.

2. the "carving" (static lover vinyl) 🔪
   now she’s above ground but she’s carving into the tree. she’s trying to make the "buzz" permanent. it’s that "girl so in love" energy where u etch their name into everything bc u want it to last forever, even if it scars the tree (or u). This is the act of attempting to ‘fix’ something in its place.

3. the "chainsaw" (pretty sad poster) 🪚
   "you seem pretty sad" and the carving tool is gone… she has a literal chainsaw. she’s done being the girl under the roots, and trying to make something permanent. now she’s cutting the whole forest down. it’s giving: "if i can’t make it permanent, i’ll make it gone." It feels her like a rediscovery of the self, taking the old down

4. The bee buzzing past the tree (undecided theory)
   So we know there’s a bee theme, an insect song and sticky sweet as another variant(maybe honey) Here the bee weaves a heart on the new CD release. It could signify life at it buzzes away and a positive ending note.

Note guys - these are just random strings I’m pulling and not asserting I know a thing about Olivia’s creative intention. But the recurring motif of a tree is worth discussing 🩷

I’m such a collector and loved the guts trading cards so you think the unraveled tour will also be running these? Praying and hoping they do. Also what was your guys experience in getting the trading card packs online I feel like they sold out SO quickly
