I just got back from a 7-day trip to Punta Cana with my family. We stayed at Club Med Punta Cana with our kids (an 8-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son). Overall it was a great experience, especially for the kids.

The biggest plus for us was the kids club: they split the groups by age, so our children found activities suitable for them and thoroughly enjoyed going every day. This made things much easier for us as parents because we could relax a bit knowing they were having fun and under supervision. While they were there, my wife and I took the chance to explore a bit more of the resort ourselves. We tried sailing (which we ended up loving), did a bit of kayaking, and even squeezed in some yoga and a spa visit. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip for us.

The beach is beautiful, and the resort has a very relaxed, family-friendly vibe. The food was good for an all-inclusive and there were enough options that the kids always found something they liked.

Curious if anyone else here has stayed there with kids and how your experience was. Also open to recommendations if you know other good family-friendly spots in the Caribbean. I’m already thinking about next year’s trip.
