Cat fiber spinners and allergies

I noticed a couple of threads on allergies this week and it got me thinking as someone who spins a lot of cat fur - if I was to take my spindle and fiber anywhere public, could being in the vacinity of it trigger allergies for anyone allergic to cats?

Hello, I have been been chain plying as I go and winding this over teo and under one. I'm quite far along the legs now and feel like it is very flat on the top but it's a bit more rounded undeneath. At some point do I do something different with my winding to get it a bit rounder overall? Thank you :)
