Predicted grades: A* maths, physics and cs.

Ive decided to take a gap year that was originally going to be dedicated purely to working and making money.

I realised my A level grades should be sufficient to get into the top unis, however I would want to study maths so I have to take Further Maths if I want to stand a chance.

I still want to work, hustle, and put my time into that. But I also want to get an A* in further maths, do some cool projects for personal statement, and read/get into maths.

I guess what im asking is:

  1. I have a passion for business and most likely want to dedicate my life to it (ik that sounds just like everyone else, but ive spent my A level years building businesses and learning skills so I like to think I know what Im talking about)

  2. I also happen to be quite good at maths and computer science - and I enjoy them (less than business, but still).

Which path to choose?

p.s. i know some will say “do both” but if I want to study maths at a university like Oxford, I will most likely have to give up on Business since I heard the degree will become a full time job.

(Thanks for reading, i had to write this up on the spot so i might have repeated myself)

Wondering if you can really get into oxbridge maths by working hard alone.

Can someone who gets A*s studying all day everyday for 1 month pre-exams get into oxbridge maths?

even if they do, would they survive rigurous uni maths or would they fall behind?

yes im talking about myself 👋. i saw some oxford maths interview questions and i feel like its purely iq based, hard to solve without natural talent
