I had a 800-1000mg per day habit. February 19th I had stopped with helper meds for 10 days and relapsed on day 11 because of the depression. My doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin I’ve been on it for 6 weeks now. Since feb 29th till the past Monday I had been taking 100-200mgs daily. I’m like 46 hours in WD and don’t feel too bad. Just lazy chicken skin diarrhea and some cold fits. But nothing like the first time I was in withdraw. I got suboxone but just can’t get around to taking it. Would like a 2mg strip pass the withdrawal phase longer

This is my 3rd attempt at quitting and I just don’t know what to do with myself anymore. I was taking around 500-1000mgs daily for about a year. I had stopped for 10 days and on the 11th day I was depressed no motivation and returned to work but collapsed and took 7 again. Since my relapse it’s been about 2 months 100-200mgs daily. I never went the suboxone route but have a script to pick up tomorrow…. Any suggestions on when I should get off suboxone? Or a taper plan. I’m so scared of it but I’m letting my wife and parents down and just want to be free… anyone please help me 😢

Man I had quite the addiction. Like the title says and 500mgs was the bare minimum (if I didn’t have money) more like 800-1200mgs daily. I had went through WD a few times. The first time I was in WD I didn’t realize i was going through it. Lasted 2 days until I realized it was the 7oh. 2nd time I got to day 3 with no meds or supplements and relapsed.i realized on the 2nd attempt I needed help and talked to my dr. The 3rd attempt I had gaba clonodine and triazapam for sleep. Sleept threw horrible WD’s and was a zombie (tired/wobbly). I stopped for 12 days and completely misunderstood PAWS and the depression/soulless feeling caused me to relapse. As I was taking 7oh I told my dr I relapsed because of the depression. He told me Wellbutrin can help but it takes 6 weeks to actually feel the full effect. So I continued to take 7oh and Wellbutrin at the same time. So 1 month 300mgs daily with no Wellbutrin. month 2 Wellbutrin and 7oh. So 2 months total of relapse 300mgs-400mgs daily. My last dose was this past Thursday and did not feel a thing. No withdrawals at all.(I know what the torture is like with no meds) it’s Sunday and I’m back to my sober feeling self. No depression no un motivation. Got up cleaned the house and about to go for a bike ride. Please guys get on Wellbutrin ITS A GAME CHANGER. Im confident this 4th attempt will stick because of it.
