Recently came across u/EngineeringAfraid246 post on this subReddit itself, listing some wooden chairs

Enquired about the price, he quoted that it was for 2700

I was very skeptical about the price considering it was claimed to be teak wood.

Cause in my city it would have been easily quoted for upwards of 5 to 7k.

Seller told me that the chair weighs about 6-7kgs and could handle a weight limit of 100kg.

And assured me that if in transit, any manor damages happen, it would be replaced, in case of minor damages, it could be fixed in a local furniture shop.

I asked for his GSTIN and being skeptical, i looked for the business’ GSTR-1 & 3B filings and as they were up to date, i proceeded with the purchase. But was met with another challenge, no one would ship it to my location, due to the major distance between us, he kept enquiring and then VRS agreed to ship it to my location.

Seller packed and it very well and paid for it himself (though i later reimbursed him, cause obviously delivery charges should be borne by me)

It was ₹400.

Seller regularly tracked the parcel and kept me informed.

Delivery time was about 10days.

Upon receiving it, it was just so perfect and comfortable and of ofc very good quality.

Will surely buy from him in future, seller also a nice person.

(Through his transaction, got to know that there is a very high markup on prices of furniture, and how i was normalised with it, until i came across him)
