So I’ve been struggling with a nasty stubborn anal fissure for about 7-8 months now and I’ve got an appointment for LIS in a out a month and a half. I had already tried fissurectomy and botox about 3 months ago under general anesthesia with no effect really. I was told that I’m going to have the LIS procedure under spinal anesthesia with no sedation. So my question is does anyone have experience in anything like that? Like, how painful is it? The spinal injection itself i mean. Additionally, do u feel any pain at all during the procedure itself? How long before u managed to be able to walk and use the bathroom again?
And another question for any of my fellow gay men out there that may have gone through LIS. How long did it take you before you were able to return back to bottoming? Did u ever manage to? The thing is, i haven’t been able to bottom in all these months now and the whole fissure situation has been affecting me emotionally as well as physically really.
