my current cgpa is a 3.4 with a b2/l2 of 3.6
i struggled quite a bit in my second year which brought my cgpa down a lot, so i’ve been contemplating doing an additional year. the issue is, i also plan to apply this cycle. i’ve looked into it and certain schools (like tmu law) don’t consider courses after the summer before applying. while others (like western) will look at your first semester of the year in progress and potentially wait until you receive all the grades from that year prior to letting you know.
my question is what makes the most sense to do in this situation? take an additional year to boost my gpa or just gain work experience during that year?
