Anyone here have a marriage-based I-485 delayed because USCIS was waiting on an asylum A-file? I AM VENEZUELAN I had pending asylum when I filed for I-130 I-485

I had my I-130/I-485 interview at the Houston Field Office about 5 months ago. Interview seemed to go well and no marriage concerns were raised, but the officer said they could not finalize the case because my asylum file had not been received yet.

After following up recently, USCIS called me that still not receive the A-file. However, the Houston Asylum Office responded to my email in a way that suggests the file exists/was already handled on their side they have it and it has not been requested by another office so this is conflicting information between the two offices.

No RFE, NOID, or second interview so far — just pending review.

Has anyone experienced long delays or approvals after asylum A-file transfer issues?
