I have been a manager for an e-commerce company for 4 years and 2 years sa finance. Dahil na stress na ko sa workload and pressure, I decided to apply sa isang MNC as a specialist. Fortunately, I was accepted and they gave me a 3k increase in monthly salary. Hindi malaki yung increase pero pwede na rin.
I realized that I don't want to climb the corporate ladder anymore haha parang max ko na is team manager. Contented na ko basta I get a decent compensation and work-life balance. So far wala namang regrets and i'm very happy with my decision. I now have more 'brain space' to do my hobbies and more time with my family.
Siguro dati I take so much pride sa prestige of being called a manager pero dumating na rin ako sa extent na hindi ko naman pala need ng magarang title, I just need a fulfilling role with decent compensation.
