Hi ladies, i’m 36 weeks pregnant and have been having strong contractions and other symptoms since my nst a few days ago. I decided to call out sick because of how painful they are. I’m getting induced in 2 weeks and wanted to stick it out the rest of my shifts but worried the contractions would send me into labor. I work 12’s and i’m in healthcare. I hate that we are made to feel guilty for taking care of ourselves. I have worked with braxton hicks contractions before but these ones have been much stronger and closer.
Has anyone else done this or have you stuck it out through contractions?
