I started playing a few days ago. i'm starting multiple faction campaign and play a about 30-50 rounds to understand basics of each faction.

And I noticed something that often happens: quest are bullshit and wants you to attack others your own faction...

Example: Trying cathay right now, I have to capture Snake Gate while it's already owned by another Cathy Lord and attacking it just mess up the whole campaign because AI cathay will prefer to attack me instead of attack chaos, norsca or whatever comes from the north ...

So I started a new campaign, trying to get Snake Gate via settlement trade, but the Gates don't appear so I can't get it that way ...

Why are quests so dumb ?
