Picking up some hardware and looked in the garden section to see the BM. None to be found. Looked everywhere. I wondered if they were so popular as to sell out. Walked around the dept a couple times. Then I spotted a leaf sticking out from the back of a much to low dark bottom shelf of a fixture in a corner. I pulled it out and was surprised at how big they were and each had some nice size fenestrated leaves. There were prob a dozen of them hidden in there. I pulled a few out to examine. All had yellow withered leaves that looked like root rot. The soil was heavily drenched. Each pot was in a sort of woven canvas “decorative” basket prob aimed at Mother’s Day. The baskets were also soaked. I figured they’d be marked down or thrown out soon but I wouldn’t have taken a free one. Lowe’s had some nice size Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegated in the same condition. In fact all of Lowe’s plants were in that condition. Not usually the case

I’ve known about my prediabetes status for about 5 months. My diet had always been on what we consider “healthier” food choices but also included desserts, candy, full sugar soda and being from the about- sweet iced tea. I moved to an appropriate Pre-D, a learning curve for sure. The first few weeks were hard but I maintained it. Then I started the “just one time” or “I’ll start again tomorrow “ game. There has got to be less boring meals than the one I’m preparing. Rice has been difficult. Bread? What? No sandwiches? It’s impossible to grab lunch while out unless it’s a crummy fast food salad or and expensive sit down lunch. I can’t make and take it from home. Just planning 2 meals a day is making me a little crazy. The hardest to give up- my fave go-to treat is sorbet, Italian ice, or frozen fruit bars- alway Outshine which I’ll miss terribly. I’ve been making sorbet and granita with monk fruit for sweetener. Arthritis keeps me from

Doing as much cardio as I need but I’m learning to work around it. Is it possible to reverse pre-d or is one always pre- or advanced to “full blown”? I’m turning to Reddit for inspiration and meal ideas. Thanks
