Facilities issue?
I decided to get fiber installed at my townhouse and the appointment for install was April 14th, the tech never showed up and there was no update, and then the next day he did show up and installed everything inside (router) and ran a temporary fiber to the box outside. He then informed me that there was an issue with one of the terminals being defective and someone else would be sent out the same day to fix it but no one came. The next day I got a text saying that someone was on the way to fix it but then got another text saying that they couldnt complete it due to not having the equipment and that it would be another 5-10 days. Is this normal? Just feel left in the dark and kind of annoyed that the tech would install everything before even checking the box outside AND saying it would be fixed the same day. If anyone else has had a similar experience I'd like to hear it, just hoping its not a big deal.
