If you went to reserve a ticket to this movie, what would you speculate about the group that reserved the back two rows?

This is for the movie sheep detectives late at night by the way… who on earth would reserve this way? I will report back tomorrow with the actual answer.

I know this is on the stingier side, but it frustrates me that regal doesn’t refund fees when it cancels movies.

My theater keeps cancelling show times and then I have to pay for the fees as if I watched them, even though I’m an unlimited member. Does this happen to anyone else? Can you relate or should I get over it?

Last year around Christmas, I decided to spread some holiday cheer by taking my PSA slabs and exchanging them for store credit. To my surprise, I traded 30 slabs for $1000! I wanted to take about half of it and give back to the community.

It struck me that e-sports are becoming more prevalent for kids so I decided to reach out to my local boys and girls club to see if they were facilitating that in any way. After some back and forth, I found the resource development coordinator for my city and arranged an in person meeting.

He explained that many clubs in the U.S. are having gaming days already, so I suggested turning one of those days into an actual tournament, and that I would supply the prizes. The director of operations met with us and we all got on board quickly to make it happen. A month later we set the date and had our first local esports tournament with prizes. Here's the pics of the day.

$100 in Gamestop gift cards for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd and 4th.

Grand Prize of Nintendo Switch and participation medals

Kids funneled in from other Boys and Girls clubs in the area and we assembled the brackets.

Many hours of herding cats later, we were down to the finals.

And at the end of a long day of gaming, I got to bestow the Switch 2 to the winner.

Obviously faces blocked to protect the kids privacy, but they were absolutely beaming with happiness.

There are 5500 Boys and Girls clubs in the United States. Could Apes help more Boys and Girls club locations with events like these, support the company we love, and foster a community of e-sports for future generations? I'd like to think so!

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to do this in your area and need help.
