Please list your albums that you like that are in that 3.4-3.5 range. There are some great albums that are in that pre-bold range. For one reason or another these albums have not made it over the hump.

Title is pretty straight forward.

I am pretty surprised how different Prog Rock and Prog Metal are in terms of tropes, stylings, tunings, etc. Maybe this is a very captain obvious but I am looking for more bands like Blood Incantation/Opeth than say an Animals as Leaders type of thing. Dream Theater is another example of this in terms of taking influences from rock and bringing them to metal.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
