Hello Reddit, I’ve had this problem since my device updated to version 5.19.3.0.1. Before that, I was able to open PDFs without any issues.
I’ve tried using Calibre to update the device and reconvert the files as PDFs, but it always converts them to MOBI when I send them to my device.
I’ve also tried transferring the PDFs via USB and sending them directly from the Kindle app.
I forced a reset multiple times (holding the button for about a minute), which only fixed an issue I had with all my manga after the update.
At this point, I’m considering doing a factory reset, but I don’t want to transfer all my files if it doesn’t fix anything.
