As per the title, I think we all want a real X-Factor team again after that utter fucking disaster that was the last run, so I thought I’d ask everyone here to give their vision of a new, real X-Factor team, like how Tim’s already giving us a real X-Force team.

So here’s some starting points:

Ideal Writer: Alex Paknadel (feel free to suggest anyone else)

Team Leader: what if it’s none other than our girl Dr. Lorna Dane, the Mistress of Magnetism, one of the First 7 X-Men and therefore the definition of a veteran, and according to her Marvel wiki page, someone with leadership experience.

Now all we need are the following:

- The Ideal New X-Factor Roster (and what kind of backing, corporate or another rich X-Men member?) (No government affiliation since that was a disaster)

- Headquarters location and Operating Area

- Mission Parameters that take the current events going on into account, so for example while X-Force are in the background, and the Alaska, Louisiana, and Chicago teams are the public faces, what would our new, real X-Factor be?

Oh, and one final stipulation as pertaining to the roster; how about no Havok so as to avoid more Lorna/Alex drama (which I get the feeling many here are tired of)

I can see it already, he uses this metal to upgrade himself in an attempt to become an all-powerful mutant killer, and it’ll take everything Scott has to take him down

Maybe Slim will even be forced to use a no visor full power blast to even the odds.

With Cyclops and Magik & Colossus set to end in June and Moonstar in July, I thought I’d ask everyone here what they’d like Alex and Ashley to write next, since we already know these guys are good writers, so I’ll start:

Ideally, I think Ashley would be great on something New Mutants related, while maybe Alex could headline a new X-Factor? (In order to move on from Mark Russell’s failed run)

What do we think guys?

I recommend everyone check this out, and here’s why:

- First off, this miniseries is drawn by one of the three Art Masters of X, Lucas Werneck, so as you can see the art is fucking incredible (with the other two Art Masters of X being Luciano Vecchio and Russell Dauterman of course)

- Secondly, the plot‘s pretty great so far and revolves around Carol’s memories and the possible return of her Seventh Sense, which could give her precog/seer powers, able to see past, present, and future.

- Which brings me to my Third point, imagine if Carol does get these abilities back, due to her longtime ties to the X-Men, she could be the new seer/precog, one that the X-Men actually like hahahaha, who would need Destiny, they’d have her, the honorary X-Woman.

Eventually, the other X-Men as a whole will find out about the new, current X-Force, it’s practically guaranteed to happen at some point.

So to that end, I thought of two questions that I’ve been thinking about but that I’d also like to ask you guys for your opinion.

1. How do we think the other X-Men as a whole will react to learning there‘s a new X-Force? Especially when you consider the past Black Squads (K-YOST and Rick Remender) or the X-Force led by the Chairman during Krakoa that did all sorts of beyond immoral, extremely fucked up things in the name of mutantkind, if anything I imagine they’d want oversight over Cable’s team, in order to not risk that again.

2. How would Scott and Logan react to learning Kamala is on the current X-Force? Because I think they wouldn’t react well at all to that, since they both are deeply familiar with the nasty things and the darkness associated with the X-Force name and doubtlessly would be extremely concerned, even alarmed to learn Kamala’s anywhere near that (I can see it already, both of them having heated conversations with Nathan)

I can see it now, during Krakoa; Kate finding Emma in the White Palace and mentioning this while playing “Disco Inferno” on her phone or something and singing while Emma just buries her face in her hands and goes “Oh god” while she’s red from the cringe memory (If I recall correctly doesn’t Emma see her villain era as extremely cringe now?)

In regards to this deathtrap, it’s hilarious to imagine Emma just throwing this together after watching Saturday Night Fever.
