Gamma GT results, should I be worried?

I posted a few days ago about going to the ER for a bad attack, surgery is booked for June 18th. I just signed into my online health account and my gamma GT test was 613 and in range is under 31. The doctor was confident that my liver will return to normal once my GB is out but I'm wondering if I should push for further testing from my family doctor. I don't drink at all and never have so I'm assuming the liver issues are purely to do with the GB issues but I feel like this is a seriously high reading. I also had borderline fatty liver which wasn't a thing when I was first diagnosed in January.

Is there any chance of switching tickets?

I bought expensive 4D tickets to mortal Kombat for this afternoon. A few hours before I was in crazy pain and went to the ER. It was a gallbladder attack. I'm okay now but I'm kind of gutted as it was $50. Do you think it's worth asking if I can get them for another day? I know they don't do refunds.

UPDATE: they refunded! Yay!! Wasn't difficult at all either! One happy customer.

When should you go to the ER

I have my surgery booked for June 18th, I've been pretty good with low fat and keeping the attacks at bay but out of nowhere I got a bad attack last night and my pain is flip flopping from 5/10 to 9/10 for the past 8 hours. I have really bad nausea and dizziness, thrown up twice and my ribs are absolutely killing me from gagging. Advil/Tylenol/gravol isn't doing anything. Not sure if it's worth the OR trip or if I should wait it out.

UPDATE: tests show liver is a little stressed. They think a small stone passed through the duct (nothing to worry about as it will pass naturally). Gave me some pain meds and nausea stuff to stop the vomiting. Just got to ride it out till June 18th! They are confident the liver will repair itself once the gallbladder is out.

My kid loves those wooden puzzles where you fit the animal or vehicle back in his spot. We just bought him a more fancy one that you have to be more accurate with but he nailed it on the first try so I don't think it will keep him entertained for long. I don't think he's ready for jigsaw puzzles but is there something similar that will keep his imprkving his motor skills and word development?

I saw the census form in our post but it's just got the address on it and there isn't a second one for the basement. My landlord lives upstairs and we are in the basement so just wondering if I have to worry about doing anything or just leave it up to them? We have had a child (2024) since moving in in 2020. We don't really communicate at all, which I'm happy with, and they know we have a kid but I'm just wondering if they are going to need his info?

My brother is in a bit of a weird position. He moved into a 3 bedroom basement when he moved to Vancouver (international). Another 1 bedroom suite next door opened up (same house/same landlord) and he kind of jumped on it after a few months into his 1 year lease when the landlord offered it to him. It's double his original rent but he wanted his own kitchen as he has some health issues. When he moved in he realized the boiler was in his bedroom and was a little loud and warm (this was Jan). I warned him, come summer this is going to suck. Well it's only May and last night he had the worst sleep ever. He's now panicked about summer. I told him to look into a small AC unit and maybe ask his landlord to take it off the rent. Another option would be to move but I'm not sure how this works with his lease which was for the original apartment, he didn't resign anything when he moved into the adjacent apartment? Anyone know how to handle this if the landlord doesn't offer to assist in cooling down the apartment? When I went in January I noticed it was super warm so I imagine come June/July it will be unbearable and his original lease was until Sept.

I have a 21 month old who has pretty limited "kids" TV time. I do however put the news on in the morning while he is playing and sometimes if he's being chill I'll put on a podcast or something. I live in a small basement suite and sometimes I just need something on. He doesn't have any interest in it but I was wondering if I should start limiting it as he's picking up words faster now so might start paying attention. I don't know how I will personally cope with no sound when home but I wonder what others do? For reference we go out once in the morning and afternoon to break up the day around his nap so it's only really when we first wake up or while I'm making dinner.

I find it hard to watch anything when he's asleep in case it wakes him and I don't enjoy watching things on my phone.

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else was in the same boat. My son has always been pretty on point or advanced with physical milestones but his speech always seemed to be a bit behind. I spoke to an early learning specialist when he was about 18 months old as he had only said about 5 words consistently but seemed to understand everything. She said he had expressive language (points to what he wants, grabs my hand to take me places, rarely has tantrums). I was told not to worry until he was nearer to two. I was still stressing, especially as the weeks went by and everyone else just seemed to be excelling (we do a lot of toddler activities). Well.....this week!!! It happened. Singing along, repeating everything, babbling like crazy, even at night! Today he added tree, jump, clap and yoghurt to his vocabulary, it's wonderful to watch it just speed up drastically in only a few days.

Just wanted to share in case any other parents are stressing out there.
