I have a bad roommate that is completely clueless and oblivious to any sort of common sense, decency or respect unless it comes to them feeling that they are entitled to something.

I have tried asking nicely, have reminded them in writing and have later resorted to demanding that they comply with house rules and expectations, to no avail.

I have finally escalated with serving them notice to leave, any corrections since then have been responded to as I am “harassing them”, to which I respond they are not being harassed they are being notified of inappropriate behavior that is in violation of their agreement.

What unorthodox methods have you seen or used to correct bad roommates that do not violate their rights?
