I got a notification that someone tried to log into my RMIT Canvas account. Luckily, my account is connected to the Authenticator, which makes it impossible for anyone else to get in since they also need a code. One of the reasons they found my password is because I never changed it from the default, where you could log in using your date of birth.

This happened after the website got hacked. Like 30 minutes before this time of the post. So i would assume the hackers are trying to login to our accounts.

Also, change your password if you're still on the default. On the separate site where you reset your RMIT password, the Authenticator step doesn't apply, so anyone with your default password can change it and lock you out.
