Foreign film about man & young girl who create suicide pact but the man can't go through with it OK so I watched this movie probably a decade ago when I was in my teens, it was a foreign movie on SBS Demand, possibly a french film.
A man finds this young girl while on vacation on a beachfront with her family and instantly falls in love with her, she ends up liking him and they talk about how their love is forbidden because shes's young etc..
Near the middle/end of the movie they spend most of their time in a tent talking on the shore of the beach.
They end up making a suicide pact, the girl agrees to overdose on pills, and the man agrees to shoot himself once the girl passes away. ( This could be wrong, maybe they both took pills to party and she shot herself and he slept through it, i'm fairly certain she agrees to OD on pills though)
The girl takes the pills and they both end up falling asleep after some activities.
The man then wakes up to find the girl dead, and he is too distraught to go through with the original plan as he cries while holding her & shaking her trying to wake her up.
From what I remember the man is rather rugged looking with dark hair and a slight beard, the girl I believe is blond, but again I could be wrong on the particular details
