TouristNorway Visa from India
Sorry if TLDR.
Hello, have applied for Norway tourist visa for me, my wife and almost 2 year old baby from VFS Mumbai. I received a call from the Norway embassy in Delhi that my babys passport photo (passport was issued when she was 3 months old) and current photo is quite different. They have asked me to get my babys passport reissued with latest photo. My travel dates are mid July and we are currently in mid May; so I have 2 months to get it sorted. Now, they have sent my babys passport and is in transit. They have kept my and wifes passport with them. They told that once I get babys passport reissued, they will process firther.
However, since my baby is a minor, for getting her passport, the original passport of the parents will also be required. I have mailed the embassy requesting them to also send the passports of me and wife so that we can get my babys passport reissued and then we will send all the 3 passports back. Did i take the right decision? Since today is a Saturday, I am going to be anxious for the next couple of days.
I am also worried if they would simply send the passports back and close my application which would mean I would need to apply once again. How do the embassies act in such situation?
Also, looking at any positives, since they only asked for my babys passport changed, would it mean that everything else is in order?
