Is it ever advantageous to flip a cake over if the bottom is fully colonized, but the top isn't?

It looks good. It developed a weird looking mold/fungus in the corner and I cut it out 10 days ago.
Now I'm wondering how to get it to flush.
The substrate is wet.
Do I need to mist?
Should it be under light?
Should I crack the lid to allow FAE?
Thank you in advance.
