I can’t be the only one going through this.

FB won’t let me login until I change my password and use a passkey. After I change the password I get this page and when I click “use passkey” a QR code pops up and I’m instructed to scan it with a “compatible device”.

Here’s where it gets weird.

The QR code isn’t a url. When I scan it with my tablet (because I can’t use the phone itself), it does a search for “Fido:\”… then a long string of random numbers.

The “try another way” button is useless. A blank screen pops up and loads endlessly.

So my questions are:
What am I supposed to do with this QR code?
What is a “compatible device”?
Why can’t a trillion dollar corporation hire a guy to answer the phone?
