Frustrated with my eating habits
I struggle with eating a well-balanced diet because of my sensory issues. Today I took the time and energy to prepare a healthy and delicious dinner for myself. Roast veggies on couscous with a tahini sauce. These are all things I enjoy. However, now that it's in front of me, I can't bring myself to eat it. I think it's the texture? It's textures that have been fine in the past, but for some reason tonight I'm struggling to eat more than a few mouthfuls, despite being hungry and still thinking it tastes good.
Does anyone else ever have this problem? I'm just frustrated because I thought I had managed to make myself an actually healthy meal I would enjoy, and instead it's just going cold beside me.
I do eat meat, but a combination of expense and not planning means no meat tonight. I do wonder if I would find it more appealing if there was a protein on the side.
