Anyone interested in what body style changes might be coming for next generation?

I have a 2018 civic coupe. That is extremely sporty looking. I would not trade it in for a current generation unless you paid me significant profit. It's so boring and ugly. What do you expect of the body style change? I doubt it will look as fabulous as 10th gen. But if it looks significantly different than current gen I might consider getting an SI for the first time and learning stick. I enjoy my 174HP 1.5 turbo for it's acelleration. But would love a change from the CVT drone.

So I'm in the market in the near future. I've been looking at things like integra a spec tech package (this is the only one that would top my built in 450w premium sound system in the EXT), The GR86, Elantra N, Prelude, and a couple of others. But I'd love it if the next civic looked nice enough to not have to jump into the near $40k+ tier.

My Civic. My best brand new car I've bought.

Bought this brand new in 2018. Before they got rid of the green. Had to get them to drive one in from the next state over because there were very few Energy Green's left. Coupe EX-T. Only put 34.5K miles on it so far. Fastest car I've ever owned. 1.5 turbo 174HP. Have had no trouble with the turbo engine in the 8 years I've owned it. I LOVE this styling and color. I paid an extra $500 + install to get the matching spoiler. I'm so glad I got my civic before they changed the design.

I'm in the market, but doesn't have to be right away. I'd love to stick with Honda, but the current civics are boring, and the prelude doesn't have any wild color. So I'll clean up my baby real good and enjoy her for a while longer!

(I didn't black the plate because it has a new specialty plate)

Own a "special edition" GR86? How did you get one?

They are extremely limited. I'm starting to get in the market and am in the $40k range. I've had an orange ScionXD (slow car, but pretty), and energy green civic coupe EXT (my current car). I am interested in the Elantra N and Integra A Spec with red interior (this is the more luxury vs. power angle)

I really love the yellow Yuzu. But I'm way too late on that. How hard are these to get? I have texted 4 toyota dealers near me telling them I'm interested in putting a deposit in, even though 2027 hasn't been announced yet. 2 of them are high volume dealers, and one is from an overall "McGrath" dealer of whom I've bought my last car from and service it there, even though it's Honda not Toyota. So I figure my best bet might be there, being an 8 year service customer with their sister company and bought a new car from them.

I just wanted to ask overall. How did you get your Yuzu, or previous special edition. How long of a wait list, deposit, etc. . did you go through to get one? Did you pay a markup or did you get a fair MSRP deal?

I absolutely love my 2018 energy green civic EX-T. It's the first car I bought brand new, with no co-signers, and had absolutely no day two regrets. So aggressively styled with that looks more expensive than it is look. Some time in the next year or two I would like to take that next step up into the "mid tier" or however you'd describe it. For me, it would be "ultimate tier". I am a very low mileage driver. When I first buy the car I'll definitely put a good couple thousand miles on it. But after 8 years my civic only has 35k miles on it.

Integra A Spec. gives me trust. I've been going to the honda dealer for regular repairs for the last 8 years. The worst repair was a $1400 electronic systems repair. The honda piece of heart has been real, for me. I absolutely love the red interior with grey body. It looks luxury, but still has a nice sporty body design that I like. Considering that my main experience will be BEING in the car, this one definitely wins in cabin feel and comfort.

Elantra N, since this is a completely different company the feel will be absolutely new and different. It has the acceleration I always told myself I craved as a younger man. I can screech the tires every once in awhile, which I will not do with the Integra since it has the same rubber bandy CVT as my Honda. So that's a big plus for this car. As the CVT is one of my only regrets, but only minor if I am honest with you. When I go to work there is a 2 lane that merges into a one lane into the left. The civic has more than though speed to start fast in the right line ahead of potential slowpokes. So while it has not great gas mileage, I don't drive much anyway. I would probably have some anxiety about reliability and repairs since I've had literally no stress because of buying a brand new honda. But it revs, and gurgles, and as an automatic driver, it has the shift paddles that I can have lots of fun with. The integra has them too. So either way that will be new for me. But will be alot more fun in the Elantra. It also has a bit more stand out style and color like my green civic.

Out of all of the cars in this price range. Those 2 have the looks and features that I love most. I know the decision is mine but I would love some words of advice! At 49 do I stick with the head turning fun machine, or the reliable but nice luxury step up from my civic. Both are awesome IMO.

I bought my Energy Green Civic Coupe EX-T in late 2018. Love it. Reliable, fun, and incredibly sharp. I actually think the design refresh after this was a HUGE downgrade. Like looking at prices now, the fact I got this brand new for $21.5K, it looks way more expensive than it is.

I've got it down to 2 cars. That fit the style, look, and feel that I'm after. It's the Elantra N or Integra A-Spec. The N positives is power, fun, screeching starts, gurgling, aggressive styling. The A-spec is the more grown up luxury choice, but also the comfort of a Honda reliability, better gas mileage. But at 200hp and 300lbs heavier than my 174hp coupe, will be just a tad slower. Either car would be significant upgrades.

The main concern obviously is reliability and dealer trust, maintenance costs. I've been going to honda for regular repairs the last 10 years. I really do not drive much. Only 35k miles in 8 years. Can this be my dream car? I'm 49btw. And I love both cars, they both speak to me in different ways.

I'm not saying it has to look exactly like the level select. But it really feels like the actual levels are missing that artistic element. Some sort of mild shader to make it look like you are literally looking at yoshi moving around the page would have made it a day one absolute buy for me.

I loved the art of Yoshi's Wooly World. It looked so good. And this one I just feel disappointed they didn't go a little further with the art when actually playing in the levels. They are too "clear".

I have an MSI 271QRX and was thinking of getting a 272URX, since it would jump to 4K from 1440p. But while the URX has only slightly better HDR Color gamut, my current QRX actually has better HDR color volume. They both have pretty much the same peak brightness around 1000 2% window and 260 100% window.

The big jump would be Samsung S95F. With 2000 100% window and 400 100% window. But the smallest is a 55 inch. I really do love playing my PS5 on my 27" OLED which doubles as internet browser. It seems like now's not the time to upgrade. I already have a top of the line in terms of OLED color saturation. and it's a great OLED. It just isn't worth it until the small monitors can take a leap.

Do you think we'll get there? Or have I already achieved peak small monitor console gaming? The only upgrade I'd be making now is jumping from 1440p to 4k.
