Well tfs Goku may be dumber than Z (super Goku got lobotomy), but he showed more affection to Gohan than that Stolass ever to Via.
-Goku spend 5 years taking care of Gohan with ChiChi on mount Paozu before Raditz showed up and got him killed by Piccolo.
-Goku never cheated on ChiChi like Stolass did with Stella. Sure, ChiChi may not be as bad as Stella but the act of cheating can hurt your child. -Goku never talked about how much he wanted to fuck another person in front of Gohan.
-Goku never called ChiChi nasty degrading insults in front of Gohan.
-Goku spend his time with ChiChi and Gohan after returning from Yadrat before the androids arrival ,and before you say Goku abandoned them to train on Yadrat. If he hadn't done that Mecha frieza and king cold would have murdered everyone in the original timeline where he died of heart disease.
