I’m working on a feature for online entrepreneurs and I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually useful or if it only sounds good in my head.

The idea is a tool called TrendTracker.

You choose a niche or product category you want to monitor, and every week it sends you a short update if anything meaningful changes.

Stuff like:

  • new competitors entering the space
  • big price changes
  • viral TikTok videos around that niche
  • signs that the market is getting too crowded
  • possible new opportunities or angles

So instead of constantly checking trends manually, you’d just get notified when something worth knowing happens.

Example:
You track “home office accessories” and get a weekly alert if prices shift, a new competitor pops up, or a video in that niche suddenly gets 1M+ views.

Would you use this?

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a tool idea and I’d love some honest feedback before I build too much in the wrong direction.

The concept is called TrendTracker.

The idea is simple: you add a niche, product category, or market you care about, and instead of manually checking it every week, the tool sends you updates when something important changes.

For example, if you track something like “posture correctors” or “digital planners”, you could get alerts when:

  • new competitors appear
  • average prices move significantly
  • a related TikTok video starts going viral
  • the market seems to become more saturated or less saturated
  • new product/content patterns start showing up

The goal is to help online entrepreneurs spot changes earlier and avoid wasting hours manually researching the same things over and over.

I’m curious:

  1. Would you personally use something like this?
  2. What would you actually want it to track?
  3. Would weekly alerts be enough, or would that be too slow?
  4. What would make this annoying or useless?

I made minecraft videos with ai voiceover (sad storytelling) videos back in the days, i've posted like 5-6 videos and those went fire.

Because it didnt attract the right audience I wanted i switched to Carousel posts and a little bit different vibe.

Now that was not a good idea, I was like okay no problem I gained a little audience now I just need to keep them and maybe I can force them to buy my product.

Now I messed up, the content i posted no one liked it, it had maximum 1k views and one time I stopped posting.

Now I want to get back to those viral minecraft videos because I had a guy reaching out to me to post these videos and promote their product. And i posted a few videos already, but they are not doing their job.

Now I don't know if the problems with these videos are that I'm promoting something inside it or just I completly lost the momentum with the algorithm.

Because the videos I make now or similar to those Minecraft videos but the views are like 1-2k.

Anyone can tell me what I could do to be Viral again?

How many times should I post a day? When should I post?
