So we finally got my dad into an assisted living home. We thought we finally made big strides. Now after his arrival, the home upped his caregiving expenses stating he needs more help. Our problem is we originally told them we couldn’t afford the rent but they approached us with a discount to the rent. So we decided to go with them. Not even a full month, and they slapped us with the increase. I’m not saying my dad doesn’t need the care but it’s frustrating when they gave us a discount but the upped the price.
