So I'm flying with my 10 month old for the first time next month and I'm wondering what everyone's travel hacks are. I'm planning to bring my travel stroller and her infant carseat (it's a full travel system). She doesn't use the carseat at home anymore and it will be expired soon, so I really don't care if it gets beat up. I also didn't buy her a seat (way too much money to justify on this trip) so she'll just be in our laps. We are flying with Alaska. How are we doing the airport? How are we doing the flights (about 3 hours)? What are we doing with the stroller/carseat? Please give me your best advice/hacks!!

I'm traveling next month and trying to figure out how to get from the airport to the hotel. My daughter will be 10 months and is still small enough to use an infant carseat. If I just bring it with me and put her in the car with it, is that okay? Are drivers okay with this or is it unexpected to bring a carseat child in an Uber? I have heard that some cities offer rides with carseats for an extra cost, but I've yet to see it- including the city I'm traveling to.
If not, what should I do? Is there a specific way to book someone that IS okay with kids/carseats? Or is there a way I should give the driver a heads up?
