I have a half marathon in just over 20 weeks and I am rather unfit and looking for advice on training plans and basically where to start I'm currently thinking C25k as a starting point. 5 foot 10 85kg Male for reference
before this I did not do any amount of long distance cardio at the gym, only 30 minutes incline walking before my normal strength training (I have only recently started the gym, maybe a month or two). I tried to jog for 3 miles at a pace of 8km/h and managed just over 2 before my stomach and legs felt too rough to continue
my goal is to improve my cardio to the point where I can run a half in 2:30 and lose 2 stone in the process and complete c25k
Basically I'm looking for advice on how you guys started out as an extreme beginner myself.
