My (20M) girlfriend (21F) doesn’t touch me
Basically just the title. I have to initiate any and all intimate physical contact in our relationship. Hugs, cuddling, kissing, caressing, sex, anything. She says she mostly likes it when I touch her but I’m starting to find it hard to believe. If I were to go a whole day with her without initiating anything, then at the absolute most I’d maybe get a kiss when we first see or leave each other for the day. I’ve been okay with it because it used to be like a 70/30 split where I’m initiating more, but she still doing something and it’s clear she likes our contact. Now, it feels like I have to beg for stuff like hugs, cuddles, and other intimate nonsexual contact, and it’s often not reciprocated. And she quite literally never touches me. It feels humiliating. She says she just doesn’t think to do it and prefers me to just initiate and see how she feels. I don’t want to be in a situation where I feel like I’m constantly violating an unspoken boundary in hopes that she changes her mind. It would be nice to just be hugged by her and stuff like that without having to basically make her. Does anyone know what could be causing this or if there’s something I should be doing?
