Applying to law school next cycle and was wondering how splitters (low GPA/high LSAT) who got accepted and are currently attending law school approached writing their personal statements?

Did you directly address your GPA? Focus more on your upward trend/work experience/life circumstances? Or did you mostly avoid explaining it unless there was an addendum/optional essay?

I’d especially love to hear from Canadian applicants, but advice from anyone is appreciated.
