25M. I own a plot in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad, which I’ve held for the past 5 years.

Recently, I came across the PM Apna Ghar Banao Scheme. I’m considering applying for it obv if approved, I could get a loan of around PKR 7 million and use it to construct a house on my plot.

My idea is to then rent out the property and use the rental income to cover the monthly installments of the loan.

Does this sound practically feasible, or am I overlooking something important?

I’d really appreciate insights from people who understand real estate or financing in Pakistan.
