Are shops that sell shoes like this usually dropshipping/selling fakes?
*not asking for authentication help, just dispute help*
I just bought a pair of sneakers and they appear fake. Also they were a little too small, but the seller was nice and she offered to exchange them for a different size, and messaged me the return address, but the return address she told me to sent them to was a totally different name with an address in Utah when I originally got the shoes from a guy with a New York address.
That discrepancy made me look at the shoes more closely and they really seem like replicas.
I reported it to Depop and tried to show proof with photos and comparing it to images of the sneakers from the manufacturer’s website, but I’m realizing now that probably won’t get me anywhere since I guess, technically, the shoes in the listing photo match the shoes I received.
I should’ve looked at the seller profile and caught the red flag instantly, huh 😭 it’s just all Onitsuka Tigers. anyway, anything I should do to help my case in proving these are counterfeit shoes when Depop inevitably responds and says there’s nothing they can do?
