Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a spot to work from my laptop (no more than 3 hours session) in the Ennasr, Menzah, or Bardo areas.

Must-haves:

- Stable/Fast internet: Essential for my work.

- Respectful staff: I’ve had a run of bad luck with rude service and places forcing a "new order every 2 hours" rule the moment I sit down.

I don't mind ordering again if they were nice tbh, but I need a place where I can actually focus without being pressured to leave or deal with bad vibes and bad service.

Any recommendations for spots that are actually welcoming to remote workers/students? Thanks

Finally ditched the 3 years old factory gunk for Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet (PTM) and Basic Thermal Putty.

My laptop is an FX506HC: i5 11400H 2.7Ghz (4.5Ghz with turbo on), RTX 3050 4gb, Ram 48gb ddr4, 2 Tb NVME (1TB x2) and a modded 90 WH battery.

Been opened for the ram and battery upgrades before, but never changed the factory thermal paste since i bought it 3 years ago.

The Results:

No more throttling:

The i5-11400H finally stays almost at max clocks when at 100% usage. I can finally turn the turbo boost on without worrying about temps.

Temps: Dropped from 98°C thermal-limit nightmares to stable low 80-90°C under full load. Idle is a cool 37-45°C

Performance: My SilverBench score jumped from ~ 27k-30k to 43k. That's a 40% gain just by fixing the thermals.

Best decision I've ever made so far. It's like a new machine.
