Does Certification help with Job Huntin

Received an offer 2 weeks after resignation and within the notice period. I think the hiring manager liked me enough to make an offer but it was below my ask by a couple of hundred. They matched my salary and it was a below what I had expectated. I tried to get them to raise the salary but the offer fell through after that, even though I said I will accept their offer.

I regretted my stupid action and it has caused this really depressing situation. I've had a few job interviews but no offer. I sensed part of the problem is why i left my last 2 jobs. They were both less than a year. Though in my previous roles I have stayed for years. I have more than 10 years of experience with a degree and the only upside to this is i get to rest after 10 years of work and i try to psyche myself that life is not all about work.

I'm thinking getting a certification might help but based on what I've seen on here, even the educated are unemployed, so I'm not sure how much getting certified will help, my savings are dwindling and I have mortgages and bills to pay.

In your experience, how long did it take u to get a job, how did u cope with being unemployed and does obtaining a certification help?

Any response is truly appreciated!
