Transfer student nightmare

I am honestly just looking for validation atp because I feel like I am going insane. Basically I tried to transfer from my small liberal arts college in PA to a school in SoCal. I’m from LA but I’m a PA resident. I worked HARD for three years straight. Going from almost not graduating high school to a deans list student.

My efforts showed on my record and out of the 5 schools I applied to I got into 3 (CSULB, SDSU, LMU), waitlisted at Chapman and denied at UCLA. All schools are great for my program and I was so proud of myself. I ended up committing to LB - I had conditional admission and figured it would be based on my final grades. Let me preface this by saying there was no other information readily available to me.

I ended up getting my admission rescinded just DAYS after SDSUs deadline and unenrolling from my current school. I was completely dumbfounded and had to set up a zoom meeting to find out what happened. They explained I was missing a class. I still dont understand why this was not explained to me sooner as they literally had my transcripts. I appealed and got denied. I also received my financial aid from LMU and had to rule it out.

So now I am completely lost. Not in school. Nowhere to go. I feel incredibly stuck and like I ended up in such a nightmare situation. I can’t go back to my current school because of the way my program was structured. All I have is a waitlist for a program with a 5% acceptance rate at a very expensive school.

Coming from a non CC and working 20 hours a week it was really hard for me to balance my workload and my university wasn’t built for transferring. I have all As on my transcript this semester and it feels like it was for nothing. What now?

hello! I was waitlisted at Dodge as a transfer for the film production program - tbh I feel incredibly lucky and just happy that I got this far to begin with. I'm currently committed to Long Beach (which i'm super excited for) but Chapman is my top choice and I'd like to try and get off the waitlist.

I'm from out of state and plan on flying to LA in two weeks to look at LB's campus and check out the area. I'd like to go down to Chapman to tour and maybe talk to an admissions counselor. Have any current students who got off the waitlist done anything similar? I've heard it's a really good way to show interest in a school. Any advice is appreciated thank you!

I applied to LMU as a transfer to SFTV with my second choice major being photography. I was instead accepted to Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts as an undeclared major, which, is completely different from what I even tried to apply to in the first place? I would imagine it has something to do with me applying like way past the priority deadline but I'm still a little confused here. Like.. why would you even accept me at this point when there's not a single major I am interested in, in that school.

Before anyone comes for my throat- I know this has been asked a million times! Just hold your horses.

I’ve been stable on 600mg of Lithium for almost 2 years- no episodes (yay!) I’ve forgotten to take it before for like week long stretches and had no issues. I also always come up as just below the therapeutic level in blood tests.

I’m headed to a music festival in a few weeks and am really hoping to micro-dose while I’m there. I’m aware of the seizure risks- I’m just more wondering how long I would have to be off of my meds before taking the acid.

I haven’t done psychedelics since pre-lithium and I always had a good time but this would be my first time trying acid. I plan on taking 1/3rd of a tab. Thoughts? Concerns? Thanks!
